Default 1000 sheep road

Rode this on last years "Welsh way round II" but as the pace was relaxed I didn't realise what an amazing road it is!!!

Just got back from a little run up to Abergavenny then Brecon, whilst up in mountains I thought i'd ride 1000 sheep road again while I was there.
Wow, saw about 4 cars in total so pretty much had the road to myself .
Ended up going up and down it twice "just because I could".

The only bit's I didn't like were when the road gently drops away and disappears from view and all you can see is fields ahead of you, and you end up having to slam on the brakes because you can't remember if it was a right or left hander next!!

I live about 5 minutes from it.. good road.. but watch out, as soon as the sheep are back...

Im a nervous wreck around there in the summer... had an incident last year on another road involving a sheep and a corner... off the bike for a month after that.. lol

Yes Anna.. when a sheep decides to try and get under your front wheel... things go wrong didnt hit it though.. but bike still went one way, and I the other... and as Suzuki are ohh so fast in delivering parts as you know was a month before I was back on the road.. missed AR05 though due to that.. gutted

Oh to have that road on my door step.

Cwmbran -> Aber -> Brecon -> 1000 sheep road x2 and back the same route is a 100 mile round trip for me.

Thankfully not a single sheep in sight, maybe they knew I was coming
