Default Problems: SV650K2 rear wheel on a SV650K3

Through the grapevine a few months ago I heard you can replace a rear SK2 with a SK3 as long as you get different bearings.

The rear has been going fine for the last 6 months but its only now that I realise that the inner diameter of the bearing for the cush drive is around 2-3 mm larger than the axel diameter.

Can someone please tell me if this is normal ?

Has anyone else had any issues in transferring an SK2 rear wheel onto an SK3?

Also would someone know where I can get a diagram of the rear axel assembly for both SK2 and SK3. Even a text diagram of each of the components would be great :>

Thanks lads !

No, do you have the stepped spacer that goes between the cush drive and wheel hub fitted right?

Default Cush drive

I have the following from left to right

Axel head
chain adjuster guide
swingarm
rubber membrane
cush drive bearing
cush drive assy.
wheel bearing
metal tube spacer (~5cm)
wheel
wheel bearing
rubber membrane
metal spacer(~2cm with two diameters of ~1cm)
swingarm
chain adjuster guide
axel nut

Is this correct or am I missing something ?

As long as you have the bearings, brake disc and spacers you should be okay.

That's a little worrying! Is that the wheel bearing or the sprocket carrier bearing?

So you appear to have a wrong sized bearing somewhere as well as missing the spacer that sits between the sprocket carrier and the swing arm plus the spacer that fits inside the sprocket carrier between it and the wheel.
