Has anybody changed stock clocks with aftermarket items?
What make did you go for and was it a hard install?

I'm doing a front end conversion to my 99 curvy and am afraid I won't manage to fit my stock naked clocks. I'm searching for alternatives in case I don't succeed.

The round Acewells are lovely... Just had a good long loook at them today. They're very small though, I'd really want my clock to be a fair bit larger. Apparently they wire easily into carbed SVs too.

Have you considered a Veypor? I'm not sure how they'd stand up to constant exposeure to the elements... (Not a problem with the Acewells, Banditmania's demo has a load of them operating under water!)

not realy aftermarket but bigape put nakid pointy clocks on a curvey. granted it does not work fully but it is diffrent

Thought you said you didn't like them small, neither do I by the way. In fact I'm disappointed as to how little there is on the market and nothing seems to be up to scratch. I did find these nice ones though from a Korean manufacturer...

Veypor's a bit bigger than teh Acewell, depending on how you set it up... Also, it's potentially a simpler screen. The standard split screen's not great though, too much info, not enough space.

That KOSO one's pretty nice... Very nice in fact. I don't see dimensions on there?

This company do two styles, quite nice but a bit pricey really. motogadget

I've just got one of the acewell's. I'll keep you informed as to how easy it is to convert when it arrives.

Sorry mate but I solved it. Bought a sheet of aluminum and formed myself a new cowling for the stock clocks. The original items have a bulky cowling which look great on the naked bike but proved impossible to fit into a fairing. I'm quite happy with the result and looks great. I can't believe that I'm the guy who actually made it! I'll post pictures as soon as it's sprayed.

Oh by the way, I'm already married to an American woman with great sexy hips! It's true
