now i know we all have our own opinions but i just thourght i would share mine.
what do the sv riders on here think of fairing lowers??? i personaly prefere the pointy sv without the lowers, "WHY" because they always look like an add on with that large joining line under the existing nose fairing, then theres the large hole in the front with nothing in there just one pipe and last of all theres the colour match all the sv's ive seen with colour matched lowers(evan brand new in the show room) seem to be a slightly different shade and like i say always look like they shouldnt be there. |

I had lowers on my RED K5 since I bought it new and I took them off shortly after I put a few miles on the bike, Awaiting a belly pan from poly26. They look better with no lowers to me

I prefer the bellypan option as well.Nothing like a bit of the lump on show.

IMHO
Curveys look rubbish with lowers Pointies look fantastic with lowers, for me thats the best look for a SVS pointy, especially if its black. A curvey with a bellypan also looks horrible. A pointy with a bellypan looks good to.

Lowers on a pointy every time, it just looks half finished without them IMO.

I think Kwak's right, they all look obviously bolted on. I've really come to dislike the OEM lowers for hte curvy, couldn't be clumsier if they tried.

Sharskinz is the best way to go if you want it fully faired...
