Default YAY! I BROKE DOWN!!

Bloody *#*^£#^%"*!#!

i got caught in very heavy rain and i lost my front cylinder! i pulled up in a petrol station filled up and when i went to get going again my bike started and then cut out. so i started it again and it died. so one more time and i managed to keep it going but only on the rear cylinder!

so i pushed it away from the pump. and went into the shop and asked to borrow their phone (my mobile had a dead battery) so i spoke to my dad and he was going to phone the RAC for me! so he did and got back to me and said that it will be 1 hour or more. bugger! so i got a copy of bike trader and a pepsi and waited. about 20 mins later i got a call from my dad saying that a company called ARJ are coming to get me and will be there in 1 and 1/2 hours! !! so i decided to look at the cr@p tool kit suzuki give you and i decided that i might be able to fix it. (i knew what it was because of people on here) so i droped the rad down and took off the plug cap and it was wet! took out the plug and it was covered in muck! so i cleaned it off. put it back in and did the rad back up and perfect!! bike fixed!! borrow the phone in the petrol station to phone my dad and get him to cancell the RAC! and rode home with a perfect bike!

anyone wana buy a sv??

tom

a copious amount of wd40 always fixes it for me. Even if I continue riding in torrential rain. That's why I always carry a can on longer journies.
I grease the cap at services if I remember and I've only ever had it happen twice.

Default Sounds familiar.

Ditto. Got drenched, and the bike decides to sulk. Managed to drip my way home
restarting on the run as necessary. Already guessed it was the plugs.
Your problems with the RAC I encountered last year. I was stranded in a dodgy end of town, in freezing weather, for 5 hours. They never turned up; my insurance company sent out another firm eventually.

hehe, I remember it happened to Mogs on one of the S&WS riedeouts... everyone else was going off into the distance, while Mogs and I were waving at everyone to stop.. got it fixed, then had to go like bats outta hell to catch up with everyone....
