Default Idle problem on K4

My bike (K4 SV650S) has developed a strange problem. while getting up to temperature all week my bike was idling at about 1000 rpm, but then it would go back to idling at 1400 rpm once it was warmed up. I thought it would sort itself out, I know this never happens but you can always hope, but it hasn't improved at all and the bike was even stalling when I set off for work today because it was idling so low. It would however always return to 1400 rpm once it would get to around 80 degrees Celsius, which I thought was strange but probably due to the ECU applying different maps with the bike warming up and when running at the correct temperature.

Anyway, before setting off for home, with the bike cold again, I adjusted the rpm, using the idle needle/screw, back to 1400 rpm and all was fine until the bike had got up to normal temperature. Once the bike had hit around 80 degrees Celsius, the RPM at idle decided to go up to 1800 rpm, which is not what I want, so I then dropped the rpm down to 1400 rpm, but now I've got a bad feeling it will idle at only 1000rpm again when cold, I haven't been able to test the cold idling yet though because of the lovely weather .

So has anyone else had this problem and does anyone know how I can fix this?

ah ha i know this problem well its your fast idol this is a problem with a screw in the throttle bodies this screw loosens with the vibes like the tps and need to be readjusted if you download the service manuals the one you need is the fuel system and throttle bodies section this will tell you how to fix the problem but its kind of hard to do. best to leave it into the suzuki mechanics or do some trial and error twisting the screw although this is not recommended as the voltage to the throttle bodies needs to be spot on

Thanks mart. It's still under warranty so I'll just have to take it back to a Suzuki dealer and let them fix it.
