Default Pics/Opinions of powder coating wheels

Hi guys,

I've just found out that we have to ability to do powder coating at work. I have the option of doing the wheels either white or blue.

I have a curvy SV650S in candy blue. The powder coat blue does not match exactly to candy blue but is very close.

Any opinions or pics please!

Personally I think that white wheel go very well with the blue paintwork. I think you should get photoshop out!

I can't do photoshop, but I reckon the white would look better by miles, unless you can get an exact match with the blue (there's a metallic blue powder available which is very close to the SV blue)

Thanks thor, I saw that thread this morning. Think the wheesls look the dogs but am a bit worried about the white getting v dirty v quickly!

I took some nitro moors to my wheels a while ago to see what the polished look would be like and although i like it they take ages to clean and are back in a state in no time. I REALLY like the white though!

I had a Mitsubishi Evo with white wheels and I was forever cleaning them to keep them shiny white - if you like cleaning - do it!

any colour other than balck will need to be cleaned very regularly. I have orange, and they need constant cleaning...although they dont get it!

I think that black would also look pretty good on a blue bike.

Plus they have the advantage that you could kid the uninitiated that they are OZ wheels!

Keep the opinions coming guys, I'm off home now but will see your opinions tomorrow.

Think white is winning so far!
