Default Oh my good lord.

Picture the scene. Northwind, having got thoroughly sidetracked servicing his rear brakes, is throwing the bike back together to get all the newly painted panels on before the Egg Run tomorrow. It's midnight. He's attaching his hugger with the regulation cable ties, but gets one in the wrong place. He goes to cut it with a pair of snips and... Cuts through the scottoiler delivery tube instead.

I'm so annoyed... I mean, really, that's proper stupid, not just everyday, ha ha, look at the funny thing I just did stupid as per my usual stupid stories. That's just so damn annoying.

Anyway.

I love you, man. Though if it doesn't work it'll be a short affair

Brake line would have been just golden, I've got a spare for that

I feel for you.
I've done so many stupid things in my life, but I keep them to myself and they just eat me up. I'm sure it's better for the psyche to tell people about them, so they let you know they've done things just as silly!
Look on the bright side tho, it's fixable, relatively cheaply, unlike scratching a K5 swingarm...

As I mentioned to Kate in her thread about her bike getting written off, Cadburys mini-eggs help.
