Horse and cart man escapes police
Police in Leeds are looking for a wanted man who got away after officers on bicycles chased his horse and cart. A police spokesman said the officers spotted the man, whom they wanted in connection with an inquiry, driving a horse and cart in the city on Monday. They pursued him and were joined by motorised units and a helicopter but were careful not to get too close in case they frightened the animal.
