The debate rolls on...
Which would you choose? Z6 @ £156 delivered vs Conti @ £138 delivered. (Blackcircles.com) |

Hello Rob,
I can save you a massive £2.13 on the Z6s....tyresonline.net !!! Having the exact same dilemma at the moment. The Z6s were £45 dearer at my local tyre place so I'd ruled em out. Now I've found em online for just £15 more I can't make up my mind. Mr Squid and Jonboy seem to like the Contis so thats a trusted endorsement but theres a lot of praise for the Z6s too !! ![]() ![]() Dilemmas dilemmas ! |

Does it though? Just because theyre similar prices - there might be 3000 miles worth of wear in difference!

I've seen a few pics of Roadattacks after trackdays, and they looked like they've been on fire. Never seen a Roadtec tear up that badly... Looke more like the results of a massiev burnout than track use Of course, those Roadattacks might have had a harder time, it's not very scientific...

I'm in the very same dilema at the moment, ruled out 020s cos of the cost. Riden a vfr 750 on Z6s and thought they were good although i wasn't really pushing them as it wasn't my bike.
Fancy trying the conti road batacks though so will probably get them

I've changed to the Conti's after swearing by the Bridgestone 010f/020r mix for years.
Initially I didn't like them. The more rounded section of the front didn't feel as grippy or willing to tip the bike in, but I have got used to it and no complaints. It's a decent wet tyre too, once it's run in plenty. The rear is pretty soft though. Just 3k and it's borderline I'll pass the MOT this week. Saying that I never get more than about 4k ever from a rear. If there was a harder rear to use in combination that would be perfect. I'm definitly looking at 3 rears to one front just now. Is there a harder rear Conti I could use? |

I rode my girlfriends bike last week, which is shod with Metz's, and my sv this week with Contis....I still prefer the Metzs, feel stronger when on lean, the contis seem very twitchy in comparisson.
