Default CBT - Settle a disagreement.

I am looking into getting a scooter for nipping around town and getting to work, so on and so forth. I looked into getting a 50cc but I think I could walk quicker.

So a 125 it is then, but my missus needs to retake her CBT in order to ride it and hers has just expired.

I suggested the 50 but she said you can no longer ride a 50 on your drivers license despite when you passed your test.

Is this true????????????

Hmmm. Not sure. However, i am to believe that you can not retake your CBT for a year, possibly 2 if it has expired.

What..... Is this true as well?

Somebody out there doesn't want you to ride your bike.

If you've got a full car license, you can ride a 50cc on 'L' plates for as long as you like... A 125cc scooter is something completely different

Only as long as the car license was obtained before 1st February 2001. If your license was obtained after that date, then a CBT will allow you to ride a 50cc moped (this entitlement apparently doesn't expire once the CBT does)
