radiator and oil cooler - SV650.org

I'm working on a project at university to supercharge a K5 650 engine for a race car we're building. I'm currently spec'ing the radiator and oil cooler for the car but as we didnt get the suzuki rad with our engine i have no basic dimensions to start with...

if anyone has an SV650 and would be able to measure their oil cooler and radiator (don't mind if it's the pre-K5 smaller rad) length, height and width then I would be extremely grateful...

Photo's of your project would be good! Especially Blower details too!

I've been trying to find a turbo-conversion for my bike,no-joy!

Would this by any chance be the "Formula Student" comp?

Why not contact Suzuki GB and get the engine heat data?

That's what you need to get any non-oem cooler sized correctly.

Keep in mind, not all makers use the same internal fins.

These are what give you the correct heat transfer from hot fluid to cold.

Also the fan data would be useful so you get the correct airflow.

You'd be surprised at what you can get when you tell OEM's you're a student

and it's for a Uni project
