Default Wheel repair???

Right got my GSXR silver front wheel for my GSXR front end swap and its in great shape except where the breaker obviously removed the tire!

Dunno what he used but it has caused a inch long ding in the lip of the wheel that looks terrible, ruins the shape of the wheel

So me being the fussy type can these be repaired like a car alloy and one any experience of having a wheel repaied?

Cheers
Kieran

Yes. Maidstone Motoliner in...err...Maidstone, and Hagons in Essex are the two I've used, both succesfully.

Tyre change you say? If it were me depending on how much I paid for it I'll send it back.

I've had a dinged wheels sent by breakers and they do sometimes know , but banking on the fact that the buyer won't notice till late(except of course you were told of damage).

You got to factor how much it all comes to(I'm sure you knew that already) once repaired and compare that to getting a damage free one.

Cheers
Ben

EDIT: I've used hagon and IIRC I've paid on average about £70-£90 including return postage

Cheers guys,

The breaker I got the wheel from is being a bit shoddy about it, but hey ho!!

Taking it to Maidstone Motoliner on Saturday to get it sorted about £50.

This front end swap is costing more and more still nearly there now!

Cheers
Kieran

Let me know how you get on - I'm going to take mine there shortly, once I sort the insurers
