Compton Abbas Meet Wednesdays
Compton Abbas Air Field, near Blandford and Shaftesbury on the top road, now hosts its own bike meet every Wednesday night from 6. Today was the second meet, I went along and there was a good turn out, around 200 they tell me (including a few SV's maybe some people off the forum).
It costs £1 to get in, and the money all goes towards the Air Ambulance, also you're entered into a draw to win a flight on a small aeroplane (will be giving it away free if I win!). Hope to see some more SV's around in future, cheers, Laurence. |
