Default bug killing machine

Has anyone noticed that there seems to be a lot more bugs out this year than ever before???

I must kill about 30 greenfly in 20 seconds when I get on the M62. I seem to go through patches of them... I only travel about 15miles home but at the same spot on the motorway each evening I get bombarded by them.

I have to wash my visor and bike screen every evening just because of the bugs.

Any really big ones, like horseflies, that are still performing thier death throes by the time I get home are duely scraped off and dropped in to one of my carniverous plants as a special treat.

Best bug killers ever. I have one in the kitchen (a pitcher plant), on the windowsill above the bin and two more in the conservatory (another pitcher and a 'flat-leaved-sticky-thing').

The pitchers are great for regular flies, big fat bluebottles and even wasps. It;s a quite satisfying sound hearing their panic'd buzzing when they discover their trapped.

The sticky thing is brilliant at sopping up those really annoying little bugs that wizz about my conservatory.

I rarely have a problem with flies in the house or round the bin ever since I bought them.

I went on my first ever long ride yesterday, Blackburn to Bangor i had to stop half way there to clean my visor. Some of them were huge and slid off a few mins later was fun though

The A55 was horrendous for them the front of my bike looks like fly genocide.

yeah it is like somethingout of a cartoon when they hit and splat green and white and then sort of slide off the side of the visor and leave a slug trail!

I usually find those on my shoulder stuck in the fabric of my coat when I stop.

I got plaster with bug guts yesterday too.

Went from Leeds to Birmingham to Leeds then up the A1 a bit too. By the end I was struggling to see through the slime.

Wore all my waterproof gear due to the predicted rain.
After about 7 hours of riding I was baking for 6.5 and raining on for about 0.5hrs.

You can always tell how happy a motorcyclist is by the number of green flys between his / her teeth.
