Default Catalunya GP

Hi folks,
so me and a mate are (finally) riding to Barcelona ( via france.andorra ) around the time off the Catalunya GP weekend, I haven't booked tickets because the route might change at the last moment.

I was wondering if anyone has been before and if you can get tickets on race day at the cicuit ? ( I know it's D.P's home track so will be very very very busy ). I don't want to book tickets ( not that there's many left ) and not make it .

Cheers

G

I know the grandstand ones sell out early (unlikely to be any left by now except from pricey agents), but not sure about regular gate tickets. If you can still buy non-grandstand tickets direct from the track then I'd do that now, as they don't cost that much

very very cool atmosphere there BTW, and that was before young Pedrosa was in the main GP class - so you're in for a great day!

Went there for the pre-season test and liked the circuit a lot. Top of my list to re-visit for a full race. Have fun.

Sort of off topic, but if anyone needs a stop off, check out this biker friendly B&B.

http://www.coupdecoeur.co.uk

On the france/spain border, about an hour or so north of Barcelona.

Have fun!

If you think the atmosphere is great at a Moto GP in England. You have not seen or experienced anything until you go to see one live in Spain! Absolutely cracking! Enjoy Barcelona mate.

yeah, nothing can prepare you for being in a grandstand when the first bikes come past - everyone just leaps up in the air, waving hands, cheering and blasting air horns!

Cheers all, the atmosphere is something that I'm really looking forward to , and the weather
We will be camping on route ( though the route hasn't been sorted yet ! ) and then probably get a hotel for the race weekend ( a bit of comfort and a few days = and looking at the on the beach
We are leaving on the 10th and returning on the 24th so have lots of time to relax and take in the sights ( wherever they may be ) on route.

Oh and cheers for the link trickywoos, I'll make an note of their address, it might come in handy
