Default Updated Website

Hey guys,

Long time no post... Well I've been busy working, riding, girlfriending... So I don't get on the computer as much as I'd like.

Anyways, I've made a few updates to my website www.MITCHCAVE.com. I've added my Scotts Performance steering stabilizer (yet to be installed), some videos of my M4 exhaust installation, as well as some new photos from 2006. Hope you enjoy. Take care!!

How much did the steering damper cost you?

$481.50 (Scotts Stabilizer)
$9.10 (Tamper proof bolts; cheap insurance if you ask me)
= $489.60 CAD = ~ £236.42 GBP

We did a group buy at SaskSportBike. About 8 guys went in on it and we got a pretty good deal from 2WheelJunkie here in Canada.

If I decide to upgrade I can always transfer it to another bike. Just need a few more parts and the stabilizer can easily be swapper. Also, the group buy was a deal that I couldn't pass up.

Ridden hard the SV is renowned for shaking its head when under heavy acceleration out of bends.

Before i chopped mine in for the NC29, i was contemplating a damper as the tank slaps on the North Yorkshire Moors were getting a little un-nerving.

But thats due to cack springs, plus oil and those naff tyres they put on... change those and you should be fine.

Its still a nice thing to have... I'd like one.

Yup, I agree with that... A damper on the SV is like treating a cut by mopping up the blood- takes away the mess but the cause is still there. Spending the same money on the suspension should get rid of the shake, while also improving cornering. Mine only shakes when I've ****ed something up now

'course, the argument about transferrability is absolutely spot on, so circumstances could make that the better choice.
