Default Removing the tool box

Some aftermarket rear huggers require the removal of the tool box. Not sure if I am comfortable with doing this as I would have to relocate a % of the tools but how easy is it to do?

It's plastic but is it screws or cut out? I am assuming removal of rear wheel (temporary ) would give better access.

i found it easer to remove the undertray to do it but if you have a dremel thats the tool for the job remove the box below the lip of the battery box and drop a thin peice of aluminium below the battery and mastic arround it to seal the battery box job done and it makes the rear end look higher

I'm not sure if this is possible (though I'm sure someone will correct me ) but would it not be possible to source a K3 undertray as they don't have the tool box under the battery? I know the rear subframes are slightly different, but surely a little jiggery pokery would make it fit?

I have a k3 undertray that I was planning to fit at some point this summer. I'll let you know if it can be persuaded on.
