Default Today I have been mostly .......

.......... riding the SV from Hull back home to Skye. 520 miles non-stop (apart from 4 fuel stops) so feel a bit numb. Yesterday wasn't quite so bad - 270 miles from Deauville to Zeebrugge. All 790 of them with a big nail in the (new) back tyre.

Went with mates who have a GSX-R1000 and a Triumph TT600 and wasn't ever left behind - perhaps they weren't trying though .........

So don't be scared to give it a go - it can easily handle the miles. As long as you can put up with the pain in the @rse !!!!

Get yourself a gel seat.... and your bum will love you...

I did the Scottish holiday trip last summer with my dad, over 1000 odd miles in 5 days, and it was Brill... You lucky people living up there with the nice roads... views, and a few wee drams....
