Default Suggestion Needed

Over the winter I bought my first bike, a 2006 SV650s. I've never rode before and I'm already in love. I bought the full fearings for it. I'd like to upgrade the can but I'm totally new to riding and don't know which I should get. I'm looking to spend around $250 and am hoping you all could suggest a good can. I don't like how my current one looks and I don't like how quiet my bike runs. I know you are probably all thinking I'm a typical kid, but I'd like to upgrade the can. Soooo any suggestions??? I'm all ears.

Thanks
-Brian

I just copied and pasted this from another thread I posted on here.. Didn't notice there was an exhaust specific forum!

I forgot to add that I'm from the US.

Hi got a Scorpion fitted to my 99 curvy. It's not road legal but makes a great sound especially on over run were it pops nicely.
The Quill Evo may be a good choice as its quite quie up to 5000 RMP but then opens up to give a good sound.

I was looking into a Scorpion, but do they make them for the 2006 model??? And what exactly doesn't make them street legal... the noise???

Doh, taken out this sentence. should read posts a bit more closely.

In Britain our motorcycles are sold with exhausts must have BSAU193 approval to be road legal (not excessively loud), which is why we fit louder non-legal exhausts.

I have a Blue Flame can (baffles taken out), I've read the US made M4 exhausts are good.

Well, I do believe I'm going with a scorpion can. Does anyone know a cheap place to buy these for a 2006??? Also does the 2005 model scorpion exhaust fit the 06 model?? I'm new to riding and how hard is it to install??? I heard it fairly simple.. Just cutting and slipping it on. But how does it stay on??? Can someone possibly post pics??

Thanks
