Damn, had my first crash yesterday. Pretty low speed affair but buggered up my left knee and broke the gear lever so that was lots of fun on the M25 in heavy traffic.
On the plus side it means I can buy a new bit for the bike so does anyone have any suggestions for shiney, expensive bits that could replace the half a lever thats left? |

![]() Not sure I want to drop 300 notes for it, still it would look good ![]() |

I think somewhere on this forum is something about drilling a hole and putting a bolt in to fix a gear lever. Someone prob will be along to explain a bit better.

Yup- you can drill a hole... And put a bolt in
![]() Works well- it's basically as solid as standard if done right, and it looks absolutely fine- check it out ![]() (not the best photo but you can see it...) That lever's been broken twice now, first time I just ground it smooth and fitted the bolt, then when I broke that (ps: ![]()

If you are a bit tight for cash, but fancy the rearsets route, these might be just the ticket?
