I posted a while back on this - did some research and finally settled on a Airforce 12,000 BTU thing. I got it from B&Q of all places. It's only been going half an hour and it's getting like a fridge in here!! Not bad at all but it's not as quiet in operation as I thought it would be. It cost £250 but it's worth it - it was roasting in here earlier on. And it only costs 1p an hour to run.

Thats what i have (or thereabouts - mine was from Homebase).
An essential item for all cabin style home offices! Mind you, today isnt warm enough to use it. hooray for good ol' British weather. Cy |
