Default Welcome Home!

Just got back home for the first time since Friday morning, only to find my Combi boiler gushing water and my ground floor flooded! Jsut spent the last couple of hours mopping water up and surveying the damage.

So it's water off at the mains and waiting for the man from the insurance helpline to come round and sort it tomorrow.

Oh well.

I've spent today tidying things up. Damage isn't too bad, but I'll need a new floor, tiling, curtains and a couple of bits of furniture & electics.

Could have been a lot worse!

The emergency call out have been round and will have to replace some plastic bits in a couple of days. Until then it's cold showers for me!
