Got a system 21 on my Kwak Ninja.
Only been on new bike approx 1 month. Went to leave work this evening. Alarm wouldn't disarm. No response from key fob. Motion sensor still on, also unable to disarm. Called RAC. Came out. Bloke didn't have a clue. Took 15 mins attempting to take seat off to get to battery. I had to tell him to stop when he was attempting to simply rip it off!! Long story short, bloke couldn't fix it, then told me I had to wait 2 hours for a towtruck with a bike trailer, even though I tole the ****s when I initially called. Got peed off after anther hour and rode bike home. Motion sensor continously going off. I've had a system 3 on my previous bike, an SV, never had a problem like this. Anyone had such problems, any ideas, please! pretty please...!! ![]() |

Aye check the other fob, mine just lost it's signal (or whatever) and needed to be reset, the spare worked fine. Also I always used to have problems at Leeds train station with the alarm not disarming, apparently that was dues to other signals interfering with it.
Also the noting being able to recover bikes is the reason I will never go back to the RAC. |

If the battery/fob thing fails to help, post a message in "User Messages" on the Hornet's Nest for Charly600B.
Charly is a qualified Datatool engineer and runs his own fitting business. He's a good chap and will help if he can. |

The way to disarm it is to cover it with a towel and let it go off 15 times(disconnect one of the battery terminals to make it go off). That is what the Datatool helpline told me when my bike's main fuse went and I didn't have a spare one to replace it with. It is quite an embarasing experience especially at 8.00am in the morning in a residential area. My system is a Datatool 3.

cheers folks.
Jabba - Just posted Charly600B, many thanks, mainly curiosity as to the cause. Went to dealer today, they were baffled, as it appears to work intermitently. They assume that it is a problem with the internal circuit board, have ordered one in. Slight problem, may take a few days. Unable to ride bike owing to deafening sound |
