Default Erm..mirror mirror on the wall...

Hi,

I've just brought a 2000 sv650s after a break from biking. great bike and loving every minute..added a scorpion can and it sounds great too...

I do have one problem though - the mirrors. Being 6 foot one with the standard mirrors i can either see a really good view of my forearms or a really good view of the sky...

Any suggestions. It's been a while since i owned a bike - can you get non stock mirrors and if so what would anybody recommend

Apologies if this is a dumb question

cheers

You can play with the adjustment, you can also buy mirror extenders if that helps? They fit between the mirror and fairing and give you about another 2cm length on them (You can certainly get them for the pointy, not sure on the curvey)

Thanks - the adjustment isn't working as it pops between settings and can't hold in the position i need. The extensions sound ideal - any idea where to get them as i couldn't see on google. would it be a suzuki dealership?

thanks again

I'm 6'2" and have to stare at my elbows.
I just move them in, (elbows that is)!

I don't remember there being a 'click' positioning on the mirror though?
Then again, I don't move them much!

Mine don't have a click either... Sure they're original? Chewy's mirror extenders are great, I've stopped using them as I don't really need them but for anyone normal sized they'd be a gift/

Chewy's extenders look perfect solution so just brought a pair. Cheers...

If only getting an extra two inches was always so easy!
