Default BlueFlame Evo

Ordered one at Donington GP yesterday.

Oval, S/Steel, short can, hi-level, single exit. They sounded knowlegeable and the cans looked good. Got it for £160 delivered.

Will post pics and opinions after it arrives and I have fitted it.

What was the name of the company selling them, sounds like a bargain!

Here it is.

I will get some better pics but the rest of the bike is so dirty it is better kept hidden!

A few observations:
All seems very well made and put together.
Neat fit on the bike.
Gives a nice deep sound but it disappears at high speeds (unlike the race can on my old curvy)
Average hanger bracket and strap, nice polished stainless but not that rigid.
Nice boot heatshield that seems to work.

Quite pleased with the finished article and it makes the bike so much smaller!

btw

The indicators were meant to be changed. Got some shiny new Oxford LEDicators but they supplied the wrong resistors with them.

Default high level

Hi would really like to see some side on photo's of that!! It looks like the hanger bar is straight same as ccc, out of curiosity did you think you could get it to line up better with the seat unit when you didn't have to worry about the brackets meeting?

The bar is straight and it is a standard kind of strap. I will look to improve this as and when I find the bits but it is still probably no worse than any others.

It would be difficult to get it much higher with this strap and bracket but I took the descision to leave a bit of room for the inidicator in the standard position. The missus will probably appreciate a bit more air between her and the exhaust!

Although it is a short can I reckon it could sit an inch or two further forward too but I couldnt cut the link pipes as they are bulged at the clamp point.

Not sure whether it gives a noticeable increase in power but I recorded a speed with 39 in it on the way in to work this morning which is the best yet.
