Default Which chain?

Need new chain n spocket set, what are peoples preference? "O" ring or "X" ring is there much difference?

O-ring will be fine but i got a gold X-ring type hoping to get a bit more life out it (and because i'm a tart).

My opinion is that an SV does not justify the extra cost of an X ring chain. Get a good value set such as Triple S chain with JT Sprockets, You should be able to do it for about 70 notes.

Technically speaking, x-ring will hold the oil in the seals better, but I haven't seen or heard of any benefits from using them.

I've had an Iris Gold x-ring and it was nowhere near as good as the stock Suzuki o-ring. Get a cheapish o-ring from a reputable manufacturer and just keep it lubed and well maintained.

Can't fault Suzuki OEM chain and sprockets.Forget the tarty ones and get a chain oiler.Last forever.
