Tbh no-one can help you. They can give you pointers but only YOU can know what you want or make the decision. Or what bike would suit you - what suits one person doesnt necessarily suit another.
Best bet is go test ride some bikes you like and opt for one you like best. If you liked the Ninja you may find the SV a bit gutless as its not like riding a sportsbike. But only you can know if you like the low/midrange grunt of the SV over the high end IL4 on the ninja by a test ride if you can. The car/bike option can be sorted by asking your g/f if she wants to go pillion or not. If no, then you have to make the decision whether to have the car to see her in or use the bike to meet her places. |

You definitely need a car as it would be no fun and not safe taking your missus out on the bike on an evening to the cinema or whatever on a freezing cold wet winter night.
Do what I did, stop riding, get a car and then once your car insurance has come down you can afford to get another bike on top of running a car. Always handy to have two forms of transport in case one lets you down. However don't make the same mistake as I did - I didn't get another bike quick enough and the insurance took away my full NCB ![]() |

Hi I was the same had a ninja sold it and couldn't shift the bike bug but didn't want a full on sports bike. Ive had my sv for 2 weeks and I'm loving it.. And the 0% finance is good if you want a new one ..
