naked sv1000 retro
I have an idea in my head (not my pocket alas) that the naked 1000 ought to make a good to excellent retro bike very much like the new GT1000 ducati.
Just a few tweeks ought to do it, including old skool (spoked) wheels and single full length saddle and possibly new dials together with a new rear end including old skool type fender. Any ideas??? How about if Mr Suzuki????? |

The frame's as un-retro as I've ever seen... The Dukes aren't exactly authenticity embodied, but the thou frame would just look totally wrong, IMO. The curvy SV650 can sort of get away with it, it's still wrong but not quite as wrong...
