i am thinking of fitting a zx10r rear shock as i hear they are really good once done.
now the only worry i have is cutting the battery box up i was wondering, before commiting myself to this project has any one got pics of what part of the battery box needs to be cut and how big a piece needs to come off?? thanks stu |

I'm right in the middle of doing this now, I'll post some pics once I'm done
I've had to cut quite bit off mine, I don't think I'd be happy to do it if I had a reasonably nice bike, but mine is my track bike which is a bit of a heap, so I don't mind so much |

from memory about 5 cm in length on the left side of the bit attached to the tank (from sit on position) and about the same out of the plastic but also going into it a bit....its not much and not visibly noticeable
if its any consolation im sure these parts can be bought from ebay for a pitance or breakers for that matter if you ever wish to replace them back to standard Andy |
