It's not feckin long enough!!!!
![]() ![]() ![]() Did it today both ways and back again. **** me its good int' it. See those ramps - someone was a bit economical with the truth Its a wee bit more than a few inches you get. Guy in front of me on a 999 wheelied the first one for about 17million miles then launched the 2nd one and I reckon he was a good foot off the ground at least. Guy behind him in a mille just jumped the lot of them. Me - well...lets leave that for another day. The weathers to be ace for the next 4-5 days so I can see me booking a B&B in aberfoyle or calendar for some fun. Still got a big grin! |

Trick is to watch for the scrapes on the road- same with the road down to Kelso. Any time you see scrapes on the opposite side, people have seriously jumped cars coming the other way
![]() I've been past the DP twice in the last week or so and never gone down it. Might need to do somethign about that this weekend ![]()

Going down it was pretty hairy to be honest. Those hairpins from the visitor centre down are a "bit" tight to say the least. Just remembered there was a guy with a sidecar whoI saw on the way down. Scary ![]() |

Ah, sorry. I meant, "in the last couple of weeks." Ie, rode past it but didn't have time to ride it. (well, first time I was with a new rider who'd have probably killed himself) The hairpins from the visitor's centre are the best corners I've ever ridden, well, with the possible exception of this ludicrous bridge I found in Wales, that I can't find on a map. Just fantastic. The road surface there helps too... Lovely.

Out of curiosity - what speed are you hitting the ramps? |

Seriously though. Had a stonner watching the duke wheelying for looked like miles then let down the front end and launched off the next ramp. Couldn't believe someone could actually do that on a road bike - the jump that is. |
