speedo over reading - SV650.org

I realise most speedo's over read however I recon my k5 overreads by about 10 percent
is this normal ?

Over-reading is great, in my opinion.

You can alway tell your friends you had yours re-calibrated and "no, seriously, it's accurate, I guess I just found a couple more horsepower than you somewhere."

BTW, speed is psychological. That is why racers don't use speedos. You should be getting used to judging speed without it, using your RPM's (the sound). Easier said than done, yeah, I know.

As far as the cops go, over-reading works in your favor. Just my 2 cents, though.
