Default Where on earth??

Might sound crazy but where can I buy myself some Kerosene??? Been to B&Q, Sainsburys and Shell service station.. not a nothing!!! Help.. I want to clean my poor neglected chain!! Strangely everyone I speak to doesn't seem to have even heard of it!?

B & Q do sell it, its just their staff don't know what their version of it is called.

Go and have a wander around the gardening section and look for some stuff called "Parasene" thats what you want...

If you cant get it get some parafin its basically IIRC the same stuff.

Kerosene == paraffin. Most filling stations down here in the south-east sell paraffin in plastic containers; well the ones with all the stuff piled up outside do anyway.

Yep B&Q sell a parasen in a white 5 litre plastic can in the gardening section by the outdoor heaters.

I bought some recently from Homebase. Parasene is actually the manufacturer/brand (www.parasene.com) - not the name of the product. Someone should correct me here but it's simply called 'slow burning fuel' or 'warm patio fuel' or something like that. The receipt, however, just lists 'paraffin'!
