I tried searching (honest!) ...but everyone recommends the dremel for cutting off the exhaust - but not which attatchment/wheel to use. (thats was a question
![]() Its going to be a CCC oval stubby, in full titanium and a 60mm bore! woo! my budget was about £80 less than i spent ![]() ![]() |

If you have an angle grinder that is the quickest/simplest way to do it. Preferably take the exhaust off the bike to do so, or take preventative measures so the sparks don’t shower/damage the bike.
It must take ages with a dremel? |

i managed! tried all 2 techniques. Hacksaw- just a pain. Dremel - pretty good, but need the reinforced heavy duty (426 maybe?) discs - and a few. Angle grinder - really good - but can't do the last quarter due to space. I ended up using the angle grinder to do the most, then the dremel to finish it- and a big twist to get the last cm!!
![]() ![]() look at that 60mm bore! It looks amazing- haven't got round to taking the baffle out. But its fully titainium, shortened, and got a 60mm bore. I have a feeling that the neighbours won't be pleased. I have a video of it with no exhaust -Jesus! Theres no way to get across how loud that was- painful! Any comments on it would be appreciated (aside from the fact i have a snow shovel still ![]() |

They do sound nice with the baffle out for blurting around town. But as soon as you get it opened up on the motorway it sson becomes a brain numbing drone.
I used a hacksaw, and as said above - done in 10 mins. Enjoy ![]()
