2 shows next year, not just the one. Consecutive weekends

Great, now I look stupid...
Ah well... why change the habit of a lifetime, eh? Anyway, I'd love to go to a bike show. Not been to one yet as I've not had any money. Maybe I'll be able to go to those if I get my house sold by then

I thought the Ally Pally show was off and had been moved to Docklands?If they are going to re-invent the old Superbike and racing show at Ally Pally then I will certainly go.It used to be one of the best shows until MCN and their razzmataz partners took it over and turned it into a clone of all the others.It might bring back some of the old exhibitors who were chased out by massive stall charges under the profiteering MCN regime.Good luck to em if so.

The 'Ally Pally' (now EXCEL) show has always been about accessories & gear as opposed to the actual bikes - if you want that then I guess you should go (have gone) to the NEC.
As for the Superbike Show - never went (it was defunct before I owned a bike) but I have no real wish to pay money to stare at what the Weekend Warriors who must have the latest 'hot' machine will be riding next year.  But, if you're in the market for such a bike (& I know there a few people who ride them all year  ) then I guess it makes sense.I've got some great bargains over the years from Ally Pally - £800 2 piece leathers for £300 & my current CCC cans for £210 just to mention two.  Excel is far better for me as well - just a straight run up the A13 with only a couple of yellow money boxes to watch out for as opposed to the North Circular where they seem to be every couple of hundred yards or so !!
