Default Removing Instrument cluster K6???

Hello Lads

We're in the process of building up two new K6 SV650S race bikes here in Australia. One will be prpped as a naked and the other fully faired. With the naked version, we are going to remove the OEM instrument cluster and perhaps replace it with an aftermarket tacho and temp guage.

Just wondered if anyone has tried this and whether there are any particular problems with rev limiters etc etc when the OEM stuff is removed.

James

Dont think there will be any problems but you will have to wire you tacho up seperatly to the coil signal as on the pointies I think that someone else found that the signal came from the ECU diffrently to previous bikes.

I'm sure Robw#70 will be along shortly to explain it as I'm sure he's done more of these than half the MiniTwins grid put together.
