Default Is my bike a write off?

Hello Orgsters

Recently low sided on diesel resulting in a rather bruised SVs K3. (33k miles)

Damage is:
Scratched Fairing, tank, rear cowl/bodywork, forks, clutch lever, bar end, mirror and indicator.

Bent gear lever + side stand.

Bike is still ridable but do you think they will write it off bearing in mind the cost of parts and labour?

Thanks

PS I'm fine BTW - full leathers not a scratch!

Yes I'd say so.

But since you've not got someone to claim off of, Whether it gets written off or not probably doesn't matter (unless you're fully comp).

Thanks FS

Have got fully comp with protected NCB so kind of hoping they will write her off.

Any ideas on how much they might offer me or what would be a fare sum?

Cheers

assessor valued my k3 mint on a 54 plate with 6400miles @ 3200 prob more 2700 tho, so with 33000 on id be happy with 2400-2500? sounds like they would write it off they cost 1000's to put right at a main dealer.

Thanks Kwak

I see you have changed to the 1000. Are you happy with it? Do you miss the 650 at all?
Cheers

I felt like that when I changed from my curvy 650 to the 1000 however after a few months I got over it
