im quite fond of a jacket potato so i thought i would ask the best way to do one

this is what i do:

***** the potato all over with a skewer
brush a bit of olive oil over it
add salt & pepper
wrap in foil
bake for about 1 hour
remove foil & cook for another 30 mins

It's all still such a long time to have to wait for dinner... Still, I think I'd use Hovis' seasoning method with cuffy's cooking method.

cook in BBQ.. forget about said potato until its too late... using prongs, take out charcoal lump of potato.. attempt to still eat... decide that biting through an inch of charcoaled potato doesnt taste so nice.. go back to eating burgers...
