Any suggestions on suppliers for a pre K3 tail tidy? Which manufacturer is recommended?
Wont be buying til after the new year, but strangely I have only found "universal" ones that would do my K1 bike, not even a specialised one on ebay! Pete |

Because the mudguard etc's all integral, the best way to do it's a whole bellypan. Or you can chop bits off the stock one, that can look good if done right.

If you can find one try and get the Suzuki OEM one. It is made by its a company called TCP Aerodynamics,
http://www.tcpsa.com/ This is the actual page you want. http://www.tcpsa.com/suzuki/sv650sc.htm Whether they still make the undertray or not is a different matter. Occasionally they come up on ebay, I bought mine from somebody on here that was selling it because they bought the wrong shade of yellow for their bike. You might have to buy direct, there is some contact information on the website. Heres what it looks like on my K1 SVS ![]() HTH

![]() Another vote for the TCP one, there's others that look better but it's probably the most practical. No mucking about cutting up the original undertray, it gets a good mirror light, and there's a proper luggage tray too- a lot of the cheaper ones are just a single fibreglass skin so the underseat space doesn't work so well. Not all, mind. Also, perfect colourmatch- someone told me once they're painted by Suzuki, but I don't know if this is true. Doesn't really matter at the end of the day... The only thing is that the plastic they use is a little brittle, so a hard impact can shatter it. I don't know what it was that caused mine to start breaking, but the front 2 bolt holes both snapped. Most likely the battery bouncing as I went over a speedbump or something. I reckon it'd be wise to use rubber washers or similiar to help protect it.
