Generation Gap

Just as a matter of interest, I thought I would give you an old guys perspective on a few subjects aired on this forum.
I'm in the process of raising the gearing to drop the revs, rather than lowering it to increase acceleration.
I've just purchased a stock exhaust system to replace the full Hindle supersport system that was on the bike when I bought it, because I like quiet!
I'm quite happy with the stock suspension on my SV650S, especially on the bumpy roads where I live.
I change my oil every 2000 kms and my filter every 4000 kms, and I use Castrol Grand Prix.
Strangely enough , I like the sporty riding position, in spite of my arthritic thumbs.
Different strokes for different folks I guess.

Yeah I agree, and one day when my mind catches up with my body I'll probably think that's a good idea, but not for a while yet though.
