I fitted progressive spring and 15w oil and that made a hell of a difference!! But now I have a Gixer front end on now!

It's soooo much better

You can't revalve them due to the lack of valves I did Ohlins springs (.8 I believe, or 8.0, I can never remember how that goes) and 15W oil which suited me very nicely, but the upgrade to the GSXR front is miles better as Billy says.

I like the springs and emulators setup, it's a good halfway between top performance and the hassle of a front end swap. But if you're handy, the front end swap can be basically free- SV parts are expensive, GSXR SRAD parts are pretty cheap by comparison, so sell high and buy low Not as hard as you'd think, not quite as easy as you'd like.

Springs and oil is a very good mod though. I didn't feel any real need to upgrade past it... I wouldn't go back now that I'm used to better, but it was always fine for me.

Well I'm having new springs tomorrow, so I'll let you know how different it feels then. I'd say I'm only just down the road if you want a look, but there won't be anything to see...

SV stem in it too, so dead easy to fit if you can work head bearings. Fair to say me and Billy are converts to the way of the GSXR front end
