Hi - I've just received my nice, shiny Fuel Exhaust with 'removeable' baffle. One problem - I cant get the baffle out! Ive removed the nut and bolt as the instructions say, and am now attempting to pull out the baffle with pliers as the instructions state. Only thing is, it wont budge! Anyone got any advice on how to pull the thing out, its driving me mad, and my hands hurt
![]() Thanks. |

I dont know if it would work, but other people have done it.
Shove a broom handle up the opposite end to the end you a trying to take the baffle out of. i.e the end that you would connect to the original exhaust system. Try giving the broom handle a sharp tap on the floor so that it pushes against the baffle from the inside and see if that dislodges it. Might do the trick, or you might get your broom stuck inside the exhaust as well as the baffle ![]()

Thats strange. Mine came out no bother, just pulled straight out with pliers. Are you sure you are pulling the most inner part

It worked! I got a big metal rod (going for the delicate touch! ) and whacked the baffle from behind - and out it popped, job done
![]() Have to say, the exhaust port looks pretty huge now without the baffle! I assume its going to be rather loud compared to the feeble stock exhaust I have on at the moment which sounds like a quiet farting noise!? Thanks for all the help everyone, much appreciated ![]() |

Yeah its a hell of a loud
![]() I've stuck the baffle back in mine and IMO it sounds better. You still get a great grumble without it being overly loud. Also I can't risk getting any more points ![]() |
