Default Airbus A380

Airbus are having to pay hundreds of millions of dollars in compo to airlines.

This whole A380 project has gone badly wrong...god knows when they will see a profit...if ever.

Big projects = big teething problems, nothing new.

They'll sort it out.

The first couple of dozen 747's were built without engines because they couldn't get them to work reliably, they hung huge concrete blocks from the wings to simulate the weight while it was being sorted (they also didn't fly funnily enough).

Yeah and all the families of the 6000 workers at Broughton (down the road) thank you for that . They depend on this plane being successful, cos if it ain't the whole of Airbus goes west.

Not a sore point, just happen to know lots of folks that work there. Laughing at the misfortune of a major employer implies you don't care that potentially many folks would lose their jobs.

Yeah...the airbus A380 is a biiiiig project.

But Airbus couldn't keep the promises that they gave.

And they are now going even deeper into the sticky stuff.
