paddock stand
Just about to buy this set of paddock stands. But as I have never used it before I have 1 question to ask. Do they fit any bike as they are or do I have to buy some bits and bobs to "make" it fit?

the local carrefour is selling hydraulic bike lifts that go under the frame for about 35 euros. ~ 25 pound. Its a lot bigger, which one would be better.

That's probably a dirt bike stand you're seeing, redbouy... If it's the sort that pushes on the frame, remember the SV frame goes round the side not under the engine
 You can make them work, but it's a hassle as I understand it. Paddock stands are more than enough for most jobs, or an ABBA stand for more serious work.
