Default sv race emulators

can anyone explain a simple way fo instructing me how to fit i removed rods and drilled holes then inserted emulators now do i have to cut some off the top spacer to compensate for the emulator being in any info would be great cheers

got mine from pdq will have to ring em again for more advice they were 112 pounds if i remember right

Yep - that's the idea. If you still have the forks off the bike then it's easy to do a dry run with and without the emulators in to work out the difference. Have you changed the springs as well or are you still using the stock ones?

using ktech 8.5 springs set up for my weight have put two turns of compression on emulators only using bike on track thought that i would have to take off about twelve mm off the spacers

Hmm, I wasn't under the impression that the emulators required changing the spacers...

Depends on the bike. I bought mine direct from Ractech and they sent me a length of ally pipe as spacer material in case I needed it. My old spacers had already been cut down to use different springs, they weren't much use and I had to make new ones. Maybe I'm not the best person to comment (i.e not going from stock), but I 'm sure if he's changing the springs as well, then would probably need to alter the spacers.
