SV650 Lump in a KR1S Frame (Courtesy of JanBros)
When I was a nipper, I REALLY REALLY wanted a KR1s, or a RGV
JanBros is currently working on dropping a SV650 engine into a KR1S frame  How much would I like to have a go on that! click here for photos etc JanBros - hope you don't mind me sticking the post up

stock kr1 had almost 60hp and weighed in about the same as the sv (iirc). so whats the real benefit of this?

I had one... it was like a razor blade, topped out at 142.
If you rode it rihgt and due to its light frame you could **** over the early R1's as it was all about corner exit speed... Oh now I wants my old one back, and I even know where it is... lol. |

interesting project although I would have used the opportunity to upgrade the front end as well, never the less good application.
Now a ss600 lump in a Buell firebolt chassis would be a project and a half. Cheer Mark
