Default Damned Hondas.......

CG125's to be exact.

Now that its getting light earlier I thought it was time to get the CG back on the road - also partly inspired by the work I did on my SV at the weekend.

So I get Jambo to pop in on his way home to check the lights for me - to tell me if the poor rear light is CD125 normal - ie nothing that needs fixing.

It only goes and works about 1000% better than normal.

Typical

Mine didn't.

She decided she didn't like the oil being in the engine, and I can only fathom that she dropped it along the way home on my 50mile commute.

She also didn't like to talk much about things like that (hence why I refer to my CG as a woman), she just went ahead & did it, without consultation of anybody.

Later on, she must of realised that this wasn't such a good thing, and threw a hissy fit. Namely locked the engine up solidly, at motorway speeds, and left me in the middle of nowhere to be rescued by mr Plod.

For that, she gets to live outside in the garden, whilst my SV lives in the garage. Hopefully that'll scare the SV into behaving itself too.

Anyhow, back on topic...

I told you that those dim lights were "CG125 normal" a few days back :P "They all do that sir" yet again!

Well my bike has put up with my riding style for almost 9 months now. That's more than all 12 of my previous bikes put up with. So for that I call it reliable, or maybe I'm just not as fast as I used to be.
