I've read the posts about tyres and had decided on the Metz Z6's.
Phoned the local (ish) tyre shop and they have recommended the Z4's over the Z6's - basically cause thats what he fits to most of the SV's that go in. So now I'm unsure - and thoughts or advice? Also, as a side note for he Z4's I got quoted £177 fitted - ride in ride out and for the Z6's £188. Good or bad? Kinda what I had in mind. Or can anyone recommend anywhere in the Leeds, Wakefield or surrounding areas? Thanks in advance peeps ![]()

IMHO Neither.
I have just had Mez 4's replaced and went for Avon Azaros. IMO a very good tyre much much better then the MEZ 4's or 6's |

MEZ4's are standard fitment and universally aclaimed to be crap. Go for the Z6's.

Howdy, cheers for that.
Ended up going elsewhere anyways and have booked it in for a new set of Z6 booties for £170 - all in.

good man- u know it makes sense..
u wont regret it .. honest- when u ride off- (bear in mind u have to scrub them in !!) you will fell like she's got a new pair of trainers on and you were riding in rock hrd ice skates before.. come back and let us know how she feels. you will be throwingher into corners like never before- once you got that 50-70 miles of scrubbing in done., |

Well the scubbing in is done (long day...ugh) - and wow, it does feel fantastic. Cornering is smooth. direction changes are a doddle - you don't need to wrestle it into a turn.
For me - a very highly recommended change to anyone. Thanks for the help and advice ![]()
