Default Rear Paddock Stand Bobbins

I'm getting a paddock stand made up at work and will be using it to hook onto bobbins on the rear of the bike. I can either buy some bobbins (money) or have some machined (free). Do all suzuki bobbins fit the SV650 curvy? Also does anyone know the bolt size needed if I get some machined. And ideally where I can get the bolts from.

Cheers in anticiaption.

Ross.

I think IIRC they're M6 or M8 bolts, about 40mm long in the case of my bobbins.

You can pick em up on the bay of e for much cheapness - I bought a big party size box of 300 stainless bolts of varying metric sizes for I think about 12 quid.

I have some R&G cotton reel/bobbins on mine & they said size M8 if that helps?

Sounds likely to me.... M6 aren't desperately strong, but I couldn't quite lay my mental fingers on the right number.

I'd guess M8 it is.

Sorry to be awkward but what's a good length for the bolts?

All depends on how big your bobbins are

ooer... But I reckon mine were about 40mm long, and the bobbins probably 25-30mm long - so about 10-15mm of free thread.

Get em long, and you can always cut em down.
