Default Hi level Can

I am going to get a hi level can for my K6 faired pointy.

Can you please help my thought process here. Do I go for the Scorpion Hi Level or the Remus hi level.

My heart is torn between the two, Can I havew some help deciding please. What are the plus and minus of the 2?

I am inclined to the Scorpion because you keep the pegs and its cheaper.

The Remus will have the better build quality and give a more refined sound, a better bit of kit all round, so should last longer also shouldn't need re-packing (model dependent), however saying that the scorpion isn't a bad bit of kit, the sound isa bit more raw.

I've had both in the passed, can't make your mind up for you, but I'd have the remus myself.

Cheers Mark.

how easy was it to fit around the tail section. Do I need to get a tail tidy and mini indicators???

Have you considered a Hindle exhaust? I've just fitted a Hindle high level full system to my k6 and I'm very happy with it. Sounds great and seems very well engineered. I got mine from a company called Carboktek in Surrey for £450. That was with a round alloy can and stainless steel headers. It is lighter than nearly all the titanium exhausts as it's made from very thin metal. If you're interested Ill post a picture of mine fitted.

Let me add to your confusion. I have had my Renegade high level carbon for 7 years. It's made in England, looks great, sounds great and has been tuned properly for SV650. Still looks new on mine. Very happy with it. Check out their website and see the power gain graphs

Have got the Remus Hi in Ti. Removable baffle for putting back in for MOTs etc. (still sounds much better than the OE one!)

Remus at the top of the game, high quality finish and fit. But best of all a great sound, deep no rasp.

Link pipe burns side of my boots when riding with ball of foot on peg. Pain in the ****(or foot ) You need to adjust your footing.

Pillion pegs had to be dumped like you say.

Have got Hamicad with OE indicators, so no clearence problems.

No ****ey jubilee clips its non-rusting springs. Nice. No crappy strap either. Dedicated shiny bracket.

Whatever you decide................. BARROOOOMBA! to ya

Did not vote as I have the Renegade Twin hi-level on mine. Obviously this knocks everything else into a ****ed hat!

Well thanks for the advice. I have opted for a Remus high level GP revolution.

I'll let you know if I slice the bike in half with the grinder putting it on.
